Chaika are playing this SUNDAY at the Petersham Bowlo. One of my fave places to hang out. We're sharing the bill with Melbourne group Hello Tut Tut!   Chaika are a six-piece ensemble that combine worldly folk jazz with cinematic classicism. They blend the sounds of four female and two male voices with clarinet, violin, piano, accordion, double bass, guitar and percussion creating a “deeply touching and meditative” experience often described as as “exuberant, virtuosic and uplifting”.
